Sunflower fields long-sleeve tee

$125.00

Unisex L-3X

Hand-quilted triangular patches cut from a t-shirt print of Van Gogh's sunflowers adorn this maroon and black cotton top. This piece will fit a range of sizes depending on how you want to style it. The fabric is somewhere between t-shirt and sweater weight with rolled, hand-stitched 3/4 sleeves, hand-stitched hem, and rolled collar. Originally a men's hoodie from Buffalo, I removed the weirdly bulky hood, altered the awkward sleeves and hem, added the sunflower patches, and meticulously hand-quilted them for stability and visual interest. This one-of-a-kind top drapes beautifully and is perfect for the transitional days of spring, breezy summer evenings, and as a year-round layering piece. Price includes shipping.

**** Sizing Note: I *strongly* encourage you to measure yourself and/or a favorite garment to compare to the measurements below, rather than relying on letter sizes. I estimate letter sizes based on these measurements when compared to typical unisex sizing. If you have any sizing questions before purchasing, please email me at [email protected]****

I do not offer refunds, but please contact me for lifetime sliding scale mending services if your garment needs repairs or adjustments throughout its life. If, down the road, this garment no longer works for you, please pass it on to someone who will care for it, or I am happy to take it back and remake it for someone new to love. My remade garments are designed and created slowly, by hand and sewing machine, with second-hand clothing, fabric scraps, and reclaimed materials. As with all handmade objects and items from thrift stores, there may be quirky cosmetic imperfections and/or signs of previous wear. I do my best to ensure that your garments can be worn, loved, and used for a long time to come when properly cared for, but if you have any issues, please contact me for support.
